really good card so far. Werdum v Bigfoot Silva in a great battle in both standup and jiu jitsu.

Mousasi v Sokoudjou next...

Re Fedor vs Rogers: Oh damn!

Great fights all around. I like how much technique was shown in every match. What MMA should be.

Can't say I wasn't worried about Fedor's nose there for a second.

That nose was nasty, but damn what a way to shut it down. The contrast between the personalities of those two fighters is interesting. Rogers was in such denial after he got rung.

Great fight!
I too was worried when I saw that huge cut across Fedor's nose, but he is one cool customer. I love the way he waits for openings and then just swings for the fences and slips one right through his opponent's defenses.

Good card.

I think all the fights could have gone either way. Execept for Fedor's. ;)

I wish Sokaju would have made a come back. He had lots of nice throws there, but that Iranian was a tough as nails.

Also Jake Shields lost in my mind, but for a belt you never want to leave it in the hands of judges.

good fight but maybe fedor is getting old? he's fought a lot more polished, big strong guys and beat them much easier. i don't know, maybe he was just trying to build excitement for this new venue by not beating him too quickly...

That Shields-Mayhem fight was boring as shit. Huge waste of a half an hour, for me.
