I am still on the fence about the series. I thought that until the last 10 minutes of the opening episode it was pretty weak.

tough yet sensitive to their childs needs, lawman chicks, I don't find that plausible, but TV keeps throwing them at us for some reason.

I never saw the original, don't watch TV now, and lizards are so passé these days. There are lizards in the new show, right? Space lizards, I presume?
