that's ongbak2?

i thought ong bak 2 was where he saves the village elephant this time.
By the way, whatever that was, it was a stinker.

But, this does look interesting, it also looks like it was made a while ago.

The first Ong Bak 2 was renamed "The protector"

The current 'Ong Bak 2" is still under production in Thailand.

that one wasnt ong bak 2. the thai name was Tom Yum Goong and it was basically the same storyline but it was a different set of characters. I think this one actually looks like a proper sequel.

ah yes "the protector". man that one really sucked hard, it was so irrelevant on a cultural context level. I couldn't maintain interest in it. lol

also, tony jaa as talented a ma-ist as he is has not done anything that jacky chan hasn't already done in his numerous flicks, in fact, it seems taht ja is doing a bit of jc coattail riding when it comes to ideas for what action to do next.

DRR, you feeling testy these days?

That being said, how can this be a sequel. It looks like it took place 200 years ago.

Anyway, we all know the real OB2 should look something like this...

compare this to the crappy scene at 3:20 or so here.
