matt damon would be better than leo. but neither is really perfect.
you want a guy with one of those booming superhero voices, since cap is a boy scout like supes.

I guess Leonardo could make a good Rogers. It's hard to say. Cap'n America is sort of a non-character. If there's no nazi Red Skull, he doesn't have any point. He's like Wolverine or Hulk in that he's a gov't experiment gone wrong. Otoh, he doesn't have a bad attitude toward the gov't or anyone. He doesn't really fit into the universe that well as a reluctant or involuntary hero. Captain America is to much of a straight man. It'd be a waste on DiCaprio. They need someone more generic. How about Steve Carel??
Then again, who's gonna play Bucky?

I don't think there are nearly enough

-comic book movies
-movies about penguins
-WW2 movies
-natural disaster movies

in this world.

You need a dose of SciFi Saturdays.

I don't get that here.

Is it anything like Discovery Channel's "most extreme deadliest man-eating flesh-ripping insane killers of the psychopathic animal underworld" or "these machines are so massive and powerful they'll melt your face off and paralyze you from the eyebrows down"?

I don't think my heart could stand the shock.
