I actually like him as a fighter, he handled Kimbo well.
Supposedly before getting on The Ultimate Fighter he made his way up in small promotions; did his own booking, promotion, training, everything.
Dana seems to always downplay him on the show, but I think he has more skill than most of the guys in the house. I like his calmness in the ring too.

I liked IFL better than UFC when IFL started honestly. I watched Roy Nelson then and liked him then. I think he fights well and is a smart guy. His crucifix and head bash maneuver might not be the most damaging or dramatic move in MMA but it works and takes advantage of the rules. I think he think a little too highly of himself but that may also be an act. He has a good sense of humor and I LOVED that he came out saturday to Wierd Al's Fat (Parody of MJs Bad).
