I suppose this partially explains why some people are obsessed with looking youthful and try and do so through external means like makeup, surgery, etc. They just don't appreciate the internal.

In a related study, it was found that dead people look really bad, that is according to a consensus of participating observers.

Well, we sort of knew this already, no? I mean, if you look 50 and are only 35, then it won't be strange if you die before someone who looks 35 but is 50. Otoh, we all know of people who are 70 who can do things that 35 year olds can't. Dunno if that means he'll live longer.
