i am not sure i understand why these guys cant just go to a local MMA gym (which you often see in BTs vids) .... get the coach to Ref .... grab the video camera's which they obviously have ... and go at it??

Maybe thats not 'promo' enough ... i dunno!

Ha ha. No, it's about promotion & money. Which means it won't be very likely to even happen...

Those guys clearly had the wrong intention if they thought they were of a caliber where they were actually gonna make any money off of them fighting.

People are going to jump on me again, but this is what I was trying to say. They really thought that their fight was a big deal, and it probably was to a very small circle of people. For most fight fans this was nothing but a novelty thing from the very beginning. If you look at the card they were a "special attraction." They weren't even being taken seriously on the card by the promoter. This is not to say that the fight would not have been serious, but all the build up (interviews on Youtube and such) was a bit much for me.

I also agree with you Juan.

The lead up makes the result even more pathetic.

Yeah, of course, but if they had actually fought then enough people would've paid to see it that they woulda made some money (maybe not much, but something). And either way, I think it would have been interesting. I think alot of people (like me) were interested in seeing it because of all the years of trash-talking we've seen from BT and we wanted to see how close he could come to being all that he claims to be.
