Pirates, hands down.

First of all, pirate cursing is much better than ninja cursing. Not even sure if ninjas curse.

And then it's the rum versus sake thing, and as much I like rice wine, it ain't rum, matey. -toast-

ninjas kill silently so they need no cursing.
you are probably being killed by a ninja right now, and you don't even know it. you probably won't know it for years, in fact, that's how silent and deadly they are.

Ninjas FTW. Seriously, how is this even a debate? No one can mess with Real Ultimate Power. Plus, everyone knows that pirates are hippies.

lol

after i thought about it for a while- i had to choose pirates

ninjas are cool and all

but pirates got rum and sail around plundering things...

that beats secret assassin missions hands down...

unless of course there were pirates that were actually ninjas (i don't think it would work the other way around- ninjas that were really pirates?)

i don't know though- there might be something to those quizzes-
one said that this is the 80's movie that defines me 8-)

once the ninjas kill someone they can take their riches if they like. pirates don't even know it, but their lives and plunder already belong to ninjas.

On a Monday morning, around the water cooler.

"What'd you do this weekend."

Ninja from behind cooler: "I climbed a castle wall and assassinated a warlord."

Pirate with a smile on his face: "Yohoho, I drank rum and got me some booty."

I'd much rather be getting booty than killing some old, fat guy. ;D

There's only one solution to this debate - NINJAPIRATES! You get the best of both worlds, rum and throwing stars.

Clearly, you have much to learn about the ways of the ninja...

I think Ninjas are pirates, if you think of the bujinkan...

Hatsumi sensei has basically been robbing ignorant white folks for years. Did you see the episode of the "Human weapon" the Booj was on? Not only did the two random white guys easily beat the trained ninjas *with weapons*, but it also showed Hatsumi's dojo, which was a) HUGE, b) the Nicest Dojo in Japan (tm) and c) populated 90% by white guys.

I highlight the with weapons above, because if you have ever done any sword work with your buddies, and thought you could hold it with the big buys, stepping into the ring with any yondan in Kendo will remove that impression from you forever. If you don't practice with the weapon, just picking it up will not make you good with it.

In this day and age, it's about the hybrids.

Approaching the heights of Pirate/Ninja primordial form.
