Czechvar? Surely, Budvar? A fine pilsner that was, indeed, the origin of the Bud name.

Some years back, they lost a legal case in which they were attempting to reclaim their brand.

Anyway, damn good to see the Czech brews taking their rightful place in the beer swilling world these days. After all, it was the Czechs, not the Germans, who invented yellow lagers.

I always liked Pilsner-Urquell, but I prefer Belgian brews.

had to give up beer.

Hops are highly estrogenic and can make a woman out of you. hence you see the flabby man boobs and bellies.

Gave it up and have dropped 20 pounds of crap weight off in a month.

I wonder if that is especially the case with the shitty commercial beers--the horse piss Budweiser and so forth. Old time people worked on their farm all day, ate meals with high fat content (but not processed food) and drank real beer and they were the picture of health.

I don't think any diet is one size fits all.

we are each of us quite different in how we absorb and metabolize things.

for some, beer is not an issue, for others it is.
I am happy to say that for me, it's not an issue. :)

being that most people eat crappy diets of food that is bad for them, drink too much, stress too much. They respond negatively and create health issues.

Farmers who ate a good diet, and worked hard would not be bothered by such.

Hops are estrogenic in nature and affect me greatly.

I have not had a drink in over a month and not only feel better. I look better.

extra calories and estrogenic compounds are not my friend. hence I stopped drinking beer.

Im down to 277 from 297 a month ago. Not bad for tweaking my diet and stopping the beer intake.

for most young people they do not have an issue with any of this. It starts to happen in your mid 40's or later.

who needs the extra weight and health issues from something that is not helping me at all?

havent craved a beer yet.

Luck with your journeys brothers.

No doubt that you need to take something out that is not benefiting you at all. I personally drink a beer only a few times a year if that.

I would have a beer or two thinking a few drinks a few times a week is not bad.

It was, and I bloated up to almost 300 pounds.

You have to be ready to really weigh out what is causing your harm and what you like to do.

too many people never do this and whine and moan about being fat, obese, etc... but eat crappy food, never exercise, drink, smoke, and stress themselves into an early grave.

the biggest joke is that heart disease is preventable, and its the number one killer in the US. and totally preventable.

take charge and make changes for the better.

Ive always been able to gain and lose weight fast.

I feel great and do not miss feeling heavy, tired and bloated after drinking.

for me it was too much good food and a few beers a night that got me fat in the first place.

I do not eat junk.
