I suddenly can't watch any videos on you tube, have tried downloading flash update and tried to 'enable javascript'

What does it all mean!! No doubt there is somebody on here far more IT literate than me,

Where are you located geographically?

You say you've "tried" downloading the new flash player and you "tried" to enable javascript, but have you done so?

What operating system do you have?
What kind of a connection do you have?

That you are posting here tells me your internet is fine.
When was it working last and did you make any changes that may effect it since then?

It's only youtube which is a problem, can watch videos fine on here. Got a wireless broadband connection in the uk, using internet explorer 8.

Think I successfully downloaded new flash player but had no success enabling javascript.

Maybe not the kinda help you're looking for but you should think about using Firefox instead anyway.

I usually can't watch Youtube on Internet Explorer for probably the same reason even though I have downloaded the flash player.

However, I can always watch Youtube through Mozilla.
