Snowmaggeddon

Postby kenneth fish on Tue Feb 09, 2010 3:59 pm

Just a note to anyone who might be PM'ing or emailing me from this site over the next few days - it is once again snowing in DC (we got about 2 1/2 feet the other day, probably will get the same tonight and tomorrow). All of the banks and government offices are closed, and my office will be as well. I don't have internet at home (or TV for that matter, and yes, its by choice) so please be patient if I do not answer for a few days.

Please send the snow our way, we are truly behind on average this year. What a shame.

Plante:

où sont les neiges d'antan?

You can have it - would gladly forward it to Montreal if I could.....

BTW I always told my students to refer to me as either Ken, Dr. Fish (if they were uncomfortable with the familiar) or Seafood Fish if we were at a tournament.

And from the Dead Parrot Sketch: "Its a ... what do you call that thing thats the same if you say it backwards?" " You mean a palindrome? That's not a palindrome! The palindrome of Bolton is Notlob!!!!"
Sorry. Getting a bit crazy from the snow........
