USA wins first match, falls to Canucks in hockey final

Most analysts believe the Canadian loss was due to time spent away from the rink studying immigration protocol, civics, transfer payment schedules, provincial government structures, and world geography while the American's single-minded focus on skating skills and absence of distractions in other subjects provided the tools necessary for the win. Film at 11, eh? :P ;D

Well, it's all a ruse actually.

You see, the only way we could keep the USA into the finals was to let them beat us.

Now we have to go kick the German's arses and then onto the finals where we will meet again.

Just win your games!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eh

The only usage of eh? that is exclusive to Canada, according to the Canadian Oxford Dictionary, is for "ascertaining the comprehension, continued interest, agreement, etc., of the person or persons addressed" as in, "It's four kilometres away, eh, so I have to go by bike." In that case, eh? is used to confirm the attention of the listener and to invite a supportive noise such as "Mm" or "Oh" or "Okay". It essentially is an interjection meaning, "I'm checking to see you're listening so I can continue."

"Eh" can also be added to the end of a declarative sentence to turn it into a question. For example: "The weather is nice." becomes "The weather is nice, eh?" This same phrase could also be taken as "The weather is nice, don't you agree?".

It can also be used as a sarcastic remark or insult, which mocks a grunt.

"eh" is derived 100% from the Scottish roots of Canada.

It is a continuation of the ever so popular "aye" (pronounced "ay")
As in Och Aye!!!

Canada used to be very very very Scottish.
Now it's like a frying pan after fryup of course, like every other western nation. :)

Now you're just being rude.
So I will remind you, oh red headed step child who took advantage of the insanity of a great King.

a) Geographically, Canada is bigger than the United States

b) Canadian regiments marched into the US burnt down the white house, couldn't get either a good whiskey or a good fight and returned home after a short while.

c) Geographically, Canada is on Top, so that makes the USA Canada's bitch since 1812. :)

:D

Yeeeeeeehaw!
Wooo! Wooo! Woooo!
Yeaaaah Baybaaaay! Yeeeeaaaahhh!
Hiiiiighhhh Fiiive!
Alllllllriiiiiiight!

Oh shag. I'm not Merkin, I'm English. So I couldn't give a toss.

BTW, question here for all the victorious, joyous Merkins and surly, defeated Canucks.

Which was the ORIGINAL land of the free?
(1) USA ('cos, of course, Merkins love freedom like they love apple pie); or
(2) Canada ('cos that is where the slaves who escaped via the underground railroad found freedom, as Britain outlawed slavery in 1772 and her colonies outlawed it in 1833, compared to those laggard Merkins who only emancipated their slaves in 1865.)

If you answer (1) above - go to the bottom of the class.

Yeeeeehhhhhhaaaaaa!
Wooo Hooooo!
Daaaayaaaaam!

13th amendment allows us to still have slavery for convicts. The Arkansas state prison system is basically run for profit (there are no guards, just convicts in the prisons), but blame Andy for turning this thread political since Darth's post was obviously just feeble face-saving :) although quite funny.
