really?

This should be in the top 5 films of every martial artist on the planet.

still better late than never! It is good isn't it.
Holds up well too!

Now, you must watch also:

5 deadly venoms
Snake in Eagles shadow
Drunken Master
Enter the Dragon
and of course:
Star Wars

Then go snatch some pebbles and you're done!

woot!
Coconuts. Bananas. Mangos. Rice. Beans. Water. It's good.

"Snake In Eagle's Shadow" was the first kung fu movie I ever saw. Caught it at an Asian Arts festival at UMASS when I was about 10 years old. That's when I got the bug.

nope. I just visit and get tooled and schooled by my friends who are there. :)

I haven't had the opportunity to visit in a few years...one of these days.

I am an extremely informal martial arts practitioner, but I do my best to maintain the discipline of what I myself have been taught and have learned.
I am informal, but my teachers certainly weren't. lol

So, I am totally open to sharing and exchanging with other martial artists, being taught and teaching as well.

There are two older classical Hong Kong movies that really stands out. This and Touch of Zen. Really good movies compared to any international standard of film making.

For the real old classics:Come Drink with me[the heroine turned up many years later as a villain in ;Crouching Tiger], Five Fingers of Death, Outlaws of the Marsh, Dragon Inn etc-must have seen dozens of them in the late 60;s and early 70's still love them

The dude's voice? I haven't watched 36 chambers in a minute, so maybe I'm forgetting something... unless you're watching a dubbed version :-\ .

Someone already mentioned it, but Shaolin vs Ninja/Heroes of the East is awesome. Chinese husband, kung fu master, marries Japanese woman, karate master. Hilarity/marital strife ensues...

Yeah, 8 diagram!
