hold on, did you just quote the Washington TIMES? the washington times owned and founded by the Unification church AKA reverend Moon, AKA the MOONIES?!? they have absolutely no journalistic integrity in my book. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Washington_Times

CNN has more integrity I think, and provides a much more balanced report of the president's stance on prayer day:

Yeah, and his name *isn't* Barry either. LOL. Just a big joke to him.

Yes it is, and it still holds true. I respect the man as president, but don't believe he's on the right track...nor are most politicians. I was just asking info from all you net surfing and knowledgeable people as my nose has been buried in textbooks for a few years.

I'd respect him more if he was honest about it.

It would be helpful if we asked politicians to be honest about their political beliefs & principles, which are often an outgrowth of their core ideological beliefs, which are often similar to their religious beliefs. Without principles, life has little meaning as you are blown every which way by the winds of change. I'd like to have politicians that are principled leaders.

The thing about Obama though, is we know less about him than any other recent president. He doesn't want to release his birth certificate, his college transcripts, and it seems possible that he is hiding his true religion as well.

You want statesmen, then. Statesmen with principles and philosophies found nations and new governments, later to be succeeded by politicians -- the career/business managers who take on the business of running the governments established by the statesmen. A lot of principles can get lost by the wayside when politicians are self-serving, though some career politicians are ethical and principled. They're just a different kind of critter than statesmen.

His "Certificate of Birth" has been released. His college transcripts are pretty much irrelevant, and the guy has written 2 books about himself before his campaign. We probably actually know far more about Obama than we have any other President in recent history.

But not his original, long form, birth certificate.

You're dodging the point. He has not released them.

Again, you're dodging my points.

Your points aren't points at all, dude. Their tired screeds that have been answered and answered and answered.

Truth is, you're a paranoid hick. Get over it.
