Sprint, this is a downright stupid meditation, sorry.

It means since it's possible we may get sick, we should not do anything to prevent sickness? Just accept it? This, IMO, is wrong headed, new agey, and offensive.

This is also the difference between IMA for fighting only and IMA for energetics and health.

Doesn't sound stupid or new age-y at all. In fact it sounds like actual dhamma. The suttas are full of reminders like that, like the sutta in which the Buddha agrees to bring a womans son back from the dead if she can bring him a mustard seed from a house that hasn't lost a loved one to sickness and death.

Take it up with Buddha dude. In the meantime: Knowing you are a dick breathe in...knowing you can't help but be a dick breathe out..
