Dude, when I first saw his early movies I was, what, 14-15? I didn't even know what "ghey" meant... It was so cool to watch back then. Esp. since we were watching them on smuggled video tapes with that horrible single-voice dubbing...

I agree w/Shawn though, Commando was definitely teh shiznit, at least in my book.

(Which, in turn, paled in comparison with Bruce Lee's work... )

I used to have a shitload of Van Damme movies. I'd have to go with Bloodsport because of the kumite scenes, but in Double Impact he had the best one-liners. Like (as his evil twin) "Take your silk underwear, get on the bus and go back to Disneyland!" and (staring at a piece of frog) "What's eet supposed to do? Make my deek beeggerr?"
