I.e. we'd need to have sane, decent people at the top, who care about something more than their own ass?

I saw his first commercial, apparently he's going to have a series of them, today. Sounds interesting, as Ross Perot would say, "I'm all ears".
I tell ya this, I saw T Boone Pickens on the news about 3 years ago and he called all of this that we're experiencing right now. The guy obviously knows a thing or two.

china's burgeoning auto industry is the big elephant in the room. there may be more cars per 1000 in the usa right now, but that's gonna change real soon. it'll be interesting to see what happens with the world oil market once china is producing cars on a big scale.

I think we should use the quintisencial American plan, and that is:
THROW EVERYTHING UP AGAINST THE BARN WALL AND SEE WHAT STICKS !
