I define internal martial art as unusual muscle recruitment and leave it at that. If my definition is incomplete, at least it is correct so far as it goes.

　　王宝钏，传说戏曲故事中的古代人物。
　　戏传唐懿宗时期朝中宰相王允的女儿。不顾父母之言，下嫁贫困的薛平贵为妻。被父母赶出家门，薛平贵入伍后，王宝钏独自一人在寒窑中苦度18年。后来薛平贵成为朝廷功臣，将王宝钏接入府中，夫妻团聚。然而仅过了18天的幸福生活便死去。我国戏曲中有许多关于她的戏目，如京剧《红鬃烈马》、秦腔《五典坡》、越调《王宝钏》等。
