OK, I'm sure James McNeil is an excellent fighter, and I don't doubt that he can fight for real. I also don't doubt that he had excellent teachers and did make the effort to learn from them.
What I am curious about is how skilled he is in the individual arts he teaches? What level would he be in each one? Would he be considered a "Lao Tzu" level?
For example, he does Chen Taijiquan. So how would he compare in THAT art with Chen Zhenglei or some other master from the Chen village.
Or in Bagua, how would he be rated against someone like Luo Dexiu?
Or Xingyiquan ... how does he compare with one of the grandmasters from Taiwan?
