RAT

The following typical threads that plague martial arts sites will get moved here if not just deleted: 1 - My style is better than Your style" - 2 - "Internal & External" - 3 - Personal attacks - 4 - Threads that start well, but degenerate into a spiral of nonsense.

They train in martial arts from childhood under rival masters. On attaining the age of majority, they have a death match.

There can only be one.

And the context was, of course, "my Aikido allows me to take on several people at once", right? ;D

Russian government is like a potentially-violent mental patient. You just basically want to NOT be in the same room with the guy, and for the most part you should be OK, unless he burns the whole place down or something. But if you get (locked) into his room, and you unknowingly misplace his favorite napkin holder and he decides to go nuts on you -- you're likely end up getting seriously screwed, with the exact same consequences (i.e. very hard to get away, impossible to reason or get him to stop, can't sue him afterwards, etc.)

I don't have enough faith to be an atheist.
I define internal martial art as unusual muscle recruitment and leave it at that. If my definition is incomplete, at least it is correct so far as it goes.

I don't know for sure, but there are a lot of exceptions to the one child policy. I believe twins would be permitted to receive hukou's (papers) without the parents having to pay the normal fee for a second child, which is 100,000 RMB in Guangzhou. Then again, because China is a big country with lots of people (you don't say?), policies are enforced differently in different places, so it could vary.

About 2 years into my stay here, this one girl I was interested in introduced me to her brother....

The next day I asked her how should could have a brother under the 1 child policy.

She said, "Oh yes...we paid a terrible price....." *shudder*
After a long pause, she continued:

"It was almost 3 months salary!" :o ;D
