RAT

The following typical threads that plague martial arts sites will get moved here if not just deleted: 1 - My style is better than Your style" - 2 - "Internal & External" - 3 - Personal attacks - 4 - Threads that start well, but degenerate into a spiral of nonsense.

Martial artists are a bunch of gossiping fishwives arguing the number of angels dancing on a pin...

Anderson Cooper thinks of Dingus day as a ridiculous holiday.

But aren't all holidays ridiculous? Who ever heard of a rabbit laying eggs?

Birthdays are the worst or all. After your teenage years no one should be celebrating their birthday.

My wife's friends like to throw surprise parties for each other when people turn 40, for me it's just an all around painful experience that I have to pretend to enjoy. Kind of like hanging out with Canadians. ;)

I define internal martial art as unusual muscle recruitment and leave it at that. If my definition is incomplete, at least it is correct so far as it goes.

Confusing the tasks, goals and methods of Martial Arts with (sport) science; both have its merit, and can have a fruitful relationship. Mistaking one for the other on the other hand seems rather terrible.

From Klonk: "There was only one man who ever really succeeded in frightening the U.S. Army. His name is sometimes mentioned when exiting airplanes."

I kid you not, but before I looked at the next post I was saying "Bye now? Who was Bye now?"

I told my wife I had to buy a new computer because it was running out of memory. I didn't tell her that I wanted a better Diablo III experience.
