Bob Nadeau Aikido

The following typical threads that plague martial arts sites will get moved here if not just deleted: 1 - My style is better than Your style" - 2 - "Internal & External" - 3 - Personal attacks - 4 - Threads that start well, but degenerate into a spiral of nonsense.

Whats' so trolly about looking at things from another perspective. If we put the human back into Ueshiba via the tragedies he lived through, then another tangible narrative emerges. Which is why Mrs Ueshiba's account of her husbands emotional state behind closed doors would be very interesting.

Our general view is that Ueshiba was an emotional superman.

I would say he was a spiritually driven man because he was mentally suffering more than many. Lets be honest in general he doesn't come across or look like a happy man.

From early on it appears that there is a staged, public relations policy surrounding Ueshiba. The stories, the photographs, all reek of management.

This PR seems to get even slicker after WW2...

oh hum...who cares anyway...
