Whats' so trolly about looking at things from another perspective. If we put the human back into Ueshiba via the tragedies he lived through, then another tangible narrative emerges. Which is why Mrs Ueshiba's account of her husbands emotional state behind closed doors would be very interesting.

Our general view is that Ueshiba was an emotional superman.

I would say he was a spiritually driven man because he was mentally suffering more than many. Lets be honest in general he doesn't come across or look like a happy man.

From early on it appears that there is a staged, public relations policy surrounding Ueshiba. The stories, the photographs, all reek of management.

This PR seems to get even slicker after WW2...
