Taijiquan 'Circle of Trust' NB's brainstormin'

The following typical threads that plague martial arts sites will get moved here if not just deleted: 1 - My style is better than Your style" - 2 - "Internal & External" - 3 - Personal attacks - 4 - Threads that start well, but degenerate into a spiral of nonsense.

The repeated use of the term woo-woo is silly. Is our vocabulary so limited?
The above nightmare of a powerpoint slide is definitely silly. Shotgun style.

A thread this silly should really be moved to the silly pit.

Kee wee Jin is the best of the younger generation of huangs students
He is way in front of his more publicised western alumni
And of course you don't know my style if you have not trained with me
That is the point

Agreed. Plus, the initial agenda priority of this thread appears to be less about endorsing or validating competent teachers than it is about discrediting those who aren't included. This is essentially the same agenda as the previous related thread, but merely pursued in a more subtle manner in order to avoid the negative feedback offered on the original thread. :/

Sorry but this is compiled by at least 25+ people, not just me, the community at large is pretty sick of the poser fajin woo-woo people. More people side with the work i am doing calling it sterling and much needed.
These are people I know or others that have communicated with me: can vouch for. sounds like you need a wider vocabulary using "silly" 6 times : DUH! asshat.

Oh, dear! I have been removed from the revised list above for pointing out the obvious agenda priority of this thread. Whatever shall I do? LOL :D

Meanwhile back at the ranch, I simply go about my own business of training, teaching and healing, wondering why so many people focus so much of their time and energy criticising what others are doing, instead of just focusing on their own training! :/

Matt,

I think that this type of thread is beneath you and I was hoping that by getting it dropped to BTDT, you would let it go.

Asshat? Straight Silliness.

I use the word silly because one of my teachers would say about people who had no skill and didn't train very hard
He is just a silly boy
Just because a whole lot of people comprised the list it does not mean they are anymore entitled to add to the list
Twenty monkeys with a typewriter are no better than one
Having seen most of your vids you need to find the best teacher on your list
Throw away all your own stuff and learn from scratch
When you have achieved something make a list with one teacher
Don't put power into the form let it naturally arise from the form

@wayne- you've turned into a woo-wooist. people like me have balls which is high level courage, balls to do push hands and full contact fighting events and many of them, skills WAYYYY beyond your league and people not included on the list. Those folks on the list ....many of those folks I know from tournaments and events over the last 20 years. So please...Go back to your handsies in the park. it has no place in the TCC world of people willing to throw down on the national and international stage which take a hell of a lot of work to prepare for.

Fought plenty of full contact including the 1975 tang shou Tao tournament in Taiwan
Just because someone dosent choose to train a certain way dosent mean they can't.
Some of the people on your list have skill and some are bums
The important point is you arnt skillful enough to tell the difference

Don't ban matt
Educate him
He will just go to fajin or some other place where his stuff will be applauded
This is not a challenge matt but if you were near me i would love to help you find your way
Like you said above I think you are a nice guy you just haven't had a good teacher yet
I really hope you find one
My teachers had either done it on the street or in full contact
So what I was taught was always about the real thing
Pushing and form were only about real usage when the rubber hit the road
How many on your list do you think were ever tested
