another one bites the dust

The following typical threads that plague martial arts sites will get moved here if not just deleted: 1 - My style is better than Your style" - 2 - "Internal & External" - 3 - Personal attacks - 4 - Threads that start well, but degenerate into a spiral of nonsense.

"balancing yin & yang "

there have been a number of threads that get heated
so far the only ones that seem to get addressed are about
a certain member who it seems when pressed the threads get locked....

strange how that works out ::)

Only *you* imagine that asking me questions means I'm getting pressed. It also tells everyone you have an agenda and motives.
I have never felt pressured at all. How would someone like you apply pressure to me by asking a question?

I was actually answering and I was going to continue answering questions, but it isn't conducive to a conversation to insult Scot and me and call us liars or frauds. What does anyone gain?
There have been real FRAUDS -in both rank and skill- with videos here. I'm not one of them.

The conversation could have continued by simply asking questions like Lars, and Rabbit. Rabbit is a good example of communication: he didn't get what he was seeing, didn't agree, but saw no need to insult, just ask. We were communicating just fine without the other nonsense.
Rabbit, if you want to ask me privately go right ahead.

"[/downward spiral]"

considering a lot the threads your on or part of get locked,,,
while others that fall into personal attacks do not

Well, fwiw, I think it's appropriate for a thread to be locked or moved when it becomes about a certain person. I don't know Dan, but it seems that people turn him into the subject after he makes a comment. Then it starts to become redundant and the admins get tired. But, I'm not sure that locking or moving a thread shows any deference to Dan, because the subject just comes up again in some other thread. ???

Windy,

I'm just curios about the thread title-- Did you mean to write Another one Bit the dust;

or meant to write Bites the dust, as the song title and lyrics;

or, since it's a computer forum you purposely wrote 'bits', in which case I propose that the title would be better if it were changed to -

Another one Bytes the dust

:D
