new five elements clip from me

A couple mistakes, pi does not have enough forward energy, but for the most part a big improvement I think. Pretty casual. :)

Better than your last one!

But your Pi is too low - you should do it to the face :P (Yeah, I know, that's not what teacher told you... ;D I'm just ribbing you )

Can I ask a technical question - why do you drag your back foot along the floor instead of stepping neatly - is that deliberate?

Back foot?

I just try to take a really short step.
I used to overstep so I made the step much smaller.

So, I'm guess it's not deliberate then? In that case you might want to fix that. Look at 0.21 - 0.24 and your back foot is dragged along the ground behind. You can hear it in the audio as well - that's what alerted me to it.

It works fine doing it like that on a nice flat surface, but when you're on 'da streetz' (as we call them in the UK) that might present a problem for you.

Graham old boy, why not show him how to do it? You can put up a small clip with one of those killer soundtracks you're fond of. :)

Haven't seen the clip, mix, but i do know that when the follow step is really short, it slides instead of stepping (you can see this in Baji a bit). Not sure if this is what G mentions. Ill take a look at it when i get home.

Coo, I can't wait for your feedback :D

I do that kind of practice a lot on concrete and its never caused trouble before, but I'll certainly look into it since I'm always trying to improve my practice. :)

Mix, try opening your shoulder out and down to the sides a little more and straightening your torso up a little at the same time.

Jose you can see me do Pi at the start of my dragon clip, but since you've got such a hard on for watching clips of me I'm guessing you've already watched that a million times with the lights off, right? ;)

Anyway, where is your pi old chap?

I've got a pretty unanimous consensus that this clip is not as good as my old one, so I'm going to take this one down now and try putting up a new one after I fix my mistakes. :)

Graham, i admit there is some truth to what you say. Im also a sucker for Ed Wood movies for the exact same reason.

Cool, lets take the Piquan in your Dragon clip and compare with mix, and maybe see if mix can learn something:

Mix, does this explain Graham's point of view? Did you learn something?
