new five elements clip from me

The following typical threads that plague martial arts sites will get moved here if not just deleted: 1 - My style is better than Your style" - 2 - "Internal & External" - 3 - Personal attacks - 4 - Threads that start well, but degenerate into a spiral of nonsense.

Holy crap!

I've seen G's clip lots of times and I have no comment. :)

I'm feeling better about myself though (well since I filmed some bagua today and made a big improvement since the last time I filmed that style).

Hey Fong, Felipe, or five X, I'm pretty sure this thread is gonna get pretty nasty, and since the clip aint up anymore, can it be moved to btdt? :D

Jose: I need to spend a lot of time retooling my xingyi before I put anything new up. My teacher kind of bitchslapped my performance and I don't want to put anything new up until I can reach the standard he has set out for me.

Deus: Yeah on here a couple people thought it was better, but in private with a number of people they thought it was much much worse.
I was way too casual.

I will be putting up a new bagua clip in a few hours though.
I have made a lot of progress in bagua (plus now I'm putting up all of CYL's eight big palms). :)

Guys (holy trinty of Mix, Josealb and XingYiJuan) I purposefully held off before to avoid conflict. But its a bit pathetic you trying to insult Graham - attempting to deflect flack onto graham (who was pretty polite and friendly and actually made a *constructive* critisism). And in fairness his clip is still up there.

My own views of the clips aside I really don't see how you can justify the fact that Graham gets slagged of because one of the most vocal critics on the board puts up a clip that got very mixed reviews (actually thats wrong - last I saw it already had 7 ratings with a mean average of 1 star and some nasty comments). In honesty, this is not only pretty pathetic but also quite sickening.

I know of several 'known' XingYi teachers who won't allow students to post on EF because of this sort of 'wolf pack' mentality and I can see why. It's a great shame as we all miss out on interesting comparisons.

HTFU, dude. Those teachers can suck it if they can't function on a "lively" discussion forum. That's what makes it fun. Grahams been here a long fucking time and he can take care of himself.

The thing that gets us interesting comparisons and such is people who are mature enough to drop their egos when they have to and be adult enough to realize all the energy in these discussions is superfluous to the free exchange of information and civilized behavior. You just need to realize that you can have civilized with conflict...it just looks a little different than you think it does.

Meditate on that, please.

S- not to denigrate you for backing up an underdog or anything...just sayin.
