Mizner vs Benitez: should martial arts masters be political?

The following typical threads that plague martial arts sites will get moved here if not just deleted: 1 - My style is better than Your style" - 2 - "Internal & External" - 3 - Personal attacks - 4 - Threads that start well, but degenerate into a spiral of nonsense.

Grahame with his sly bitches that say nothing
Others claiming that boomers got it too easy
Some think that what I say is negative
It is not
I’m just saying what all those in the past have said
Do better
I know I help people here because the contact me on the back channel and say so
There is a reason they don’t say it here
They don’t want the drivel and bitching aimed at them
Mizner as YCF and me as YSH
It’s funny mentioning YSH when you would all love his stuff
MARTIAL man the name says it all
Ito you ask me not to mention you but address me all the time
This is why you are where you are and fail to go further no matter whose name you ride
From year to year you show pushing in Florida hey the standard never improves
I am a generous teacher as I am here with my comments
My teacher told me I give away too much here
I do but the art requires it

See, this is the shit I'm talking about. So catty and precious.
Nobody I push with really has any idea who my teacher is, they've got their own teachers they prefer and that's fine.
They respond to what they can and can't do to me, and that's all I care about.
I've never once tried to claim glory by association. If you're trying to put that on me that's just your own projection speaking. I only mention my teacher to share his work with others who might be interested.

I've got what I've got in my two hands through my own hard work, and I'm not just talking about when they're touching the keyboard.

Folks in Florida may not be getting better but at least they're pushing. :D What are you doing? Come on out and show us some real skill. Hell post a video of you tossing a flunky student around at least. Dare to push with someone from another school. Show something. What are you doing to make Taijiquan better?

Anybody else who has anything to say I'm more than willing to speak in private, otherwise I figure it's not worth worrying about.

Do better. Yeah that's the point, Wayne. That's why we put in the hours of training and pushing and reading and travelling and standing. Do you really think anybody is here just to say "LOOK HOW COOL I AM"

It's martial Taijiquan, it's a joke outside of such a tiny sliver of humanity it barely registers.

Why do I keep talking to you? I don't know. I have ADHD and poor impulse control.

I really don't enjoy this negative back and forth, Wayne. If you want to have a private chat and sort stuff out I'm game, but I don't expect you to show me a shred of respect on any level despite my reaching out to you time and again over the years so I don't expect you to start now. Your shit just smells too good I guess.

So yeah, I suck, you're better than me, you have arrived and sit on your throne of judgment, that's great, you have your reward.

But regardless of how ANYBODY on this board or the internet at large feels about what I do, I've put over 20 years of honest effort into what meager result I've got and I'm just tired of you shitting on it.

Dick.

No, I don't think martial arts masters should be political.

Bob Goldthwait was my spirit animal. I've seen every one of those horrible films innumerable times.

This was their meetcute, before they both became cops.
