a Wu Taiji article by Stephan Yan that i liked

The following typical threads that plague martial arts sites will get moved here if not just deleted: 1 - My style is better than Your style" - 2 - "Internal & External" - 3 - Personal attacks - 4 - Threads that start well, but degenerate into a spiral of nonsense.

your teacher was banned here for a good reason. He and his opinions aren't welcome here. Stop using your account to post his stuff. I know it's from him, because you told me that you didn't speak Chinese.

who cares. this is in BTDT of all places too. can you leave Nick alone? stephen yan wasn't banned for posting this type of thing anyway. it was because of a personal back and forth w/ another guy, right? so if Nick doesn't post that kind of stuff i don't see why anyone would have a problem w/ it.

Are you on a misson, Mike ? A mission to bring back this guy ?

I think Nick can speak up for himself ...

If its pretentious to give information about historical Martial Arts meetings / demonstrations with lists of attendees (and those unable to attend due to politics of the day - ie they were guests of the state) and that deserves a knee capping (as does using the word pretentious) - then you live in a very sad world there yusuf.

You also seem very free with the idea of doing physical violence. Do you actually fight a lot or is this more of a verbal thing? What MA's do you do (just curious)?
