隔空沾黏 Sticky in the air

The following typical threads that plague martial arts sites will get moved here if not just deleted: 1 - My style is better than Your style" - 2 - "Internal & External" - 3 - Personal attacks - 4 - Threads that start well, but degenerate into a spiral of nonsense.

Interesting how all the empty force quacks say that. It sounds like a basic hypnotic technique, since no-one wishes to appear "unevolved".

However, all effective combat methods contain their fair share of deception and trickery, so I suppose being jerked around on an invisible string is one way of learning the art - as long as you know you're being conned.

You can do this in a pool game.

While the opponent is making his shot stand in line with his shot
in between you and him. Hold your cue stick vertically. As he shoots
you lean one way or the other and he will follow.

I saw one golf game that the shooter tried to hit the golf ball into the hole within the last 10 feet, his opponent used his hand to make 2 trenches, one on each side of the hole. The ball finally moved into one of the trenches and missed the hole.

Did you ever play marble when you were a kid? I did that to my opponent all the time - made physical trenches in front of my marble.

I think it would be interesting to find a bunch of masters that do ling kong jin on their students, and then see what happens when you swap student groups (of course, it would also be nice to use some actors as alleged masters in such an experiment).

Just walked by them today as I do every Sunday. There was a kickboxing class that came over to challenge them. I didn't care to stay and watch but they kickboxing coach later walked by where I was practicing and I could hear him complaining about them not taking challenges.
