"I treated over 10,000 patients."

The following typical threads that plague martial arts sites will get moved here if not just deleted: 1 - My style is better than Your style" - 2 - "Internal & External" - 3 - Personal attacks - 4 - Threads that start well, but degenerate into a spiral of nonsense.

Doctors, what's your diagnosis? I'm going with liver stagnation first off, but probably a lower back injury and some constipation too.

He looks like he dropped a few pounds--looks healthy and always worth listening to regardless of whether one agrees or disagrees with him. Thanks for the post.

10,000 patients / 365 days in a year = 27 patients a day for a single year.

10,000 patients.

Sure. Why not.

Sounds a bit more reasonable, LOL

I thought it was funny he said

"the yi ching is based upon change"

then he repeated

"the yi ching is based upon change"

Exactly like he just said it.... without any change.

Scott,

Frantzis's automobile accident injuries are fairly well-known. Were you unaware or are you just making fun?

Would you study meditation from someone who chronically knits his eyebrows when he talks? Yes, I'm just making fun. Kumar was probably the first person to articulate jin teachings in the U.S. His openness certainly forced many martial arts teachers who had been keeping these teachings secret to begin teaching them openly. For that we all owe him a great debt.

Anyone know what kind of healing work he was doing as a child?

I miss story time with Bruce.

He looks really well, compared to some older videos! Great for him.
He has a pupil in Copenhagen? On the site it says Michael Eno, but I have never heard of him (copenhagen is very small in terms of IMA), and a google search dont give anything.
Anyone knows about him?

BKF´s book was really important for me when I read it the first time, and led me to finding my present teacher 10 years ago.

+1

I really like Bruce, even though he tends to get way over the top sometimes :-P

I think the tone in the video turned out a bit cocky on his part. He was talking facts, I suppose, but for someone who isn't familiar with his life and work, it can sound like too much bragging.

Michael Eno started studying with Bruce about two years ago, I think. He is the person arranging workshops in Copenhagen. In civilian life, he´s a therapist since thirty years back or so.

Hope that´s a help.

Just a question?

Did he treat 10,000 new people or a few people 10,000 times???.

I see anywhere between 16 and 22 peeps, 6 days a week less 3 weeks a year for vacation over the last 17 years. Out of that say 4 to 10 new peeps a week.

16 x6=96 x 49 weeks=4704 x 17 years = =79,968 treatments...in your face BKF I rule!

I am not sure why he mentions this? He looks great...he moves well in the other post. I respect his writing. He should rest on his laurels.
