100 Days of Baguazhang Challenge 2012!

The Fists of Mystery and Truth club (Shifu John Spak) is having another 100 days of Baguazhang challenge this year . The kickoff event is on Sunday January 1st in Vancouver, BC. 1:30-3:30pm at The Creekside Community center (a 2 minute walk NW along the seawall from Main St. skytrain station) #1 Athelete's way.

There will be Bagua as well as Zhaquan demonstrations, circle walking, prizes and more! You are all invited out of course.

After the kickoff event, will be the 100 day challenge, to practice daily for the next 100 days. John will be posting videos on Youtube during the 100 days http://www.youtube.com/user/100DaysofBagua?blend=1&ob=video-mustangbase. While you are practicing, you will be blogging your experiences. On a side note this event and the other I have posted have no relation to each other whatsoever, aside from the fact I attend both.

The above is the in person kickoff event locally. There is also the online version with the videos over the 100 days. If anyone would like to join in with the blogging, just get ahold of Shifu John Spak at: [email protected] with "The 100 days of Baguazhang" in the title and let him know you would like to join in. The blogging was quite a bit of fun last year, and we all enjoyed reading each other's blogs. The best part though honestly, in my opinion, is an excuse to make sure you practice EVERY day (or close to it) for just over 3 months .

We had a great Kick-Off Event at the Creekside Community Centre here in Vancouver. For those who couldn't make it there, I've posted some video of our Bagua and Zhaquan demonstrations for your perusal

Btw, the first of the free "Challenge tutorial videos" will be posted tomorrow - I can only do so much in a day. If you'd like to join in the fun and Challenge yourself to this 100 days of Bagua practice, just send me an email saying you are in. Some video's will be posted which are viewable to everyone, but only those who join in will be able to see all of them.
