Ian, thanks, have seen it linked from rsf before. Will check into it next. I am kinda bored of the legumes and don't like the gas. It's interesting he recommends "gentle cooking" with low heat, on the topic of those centenarians. The overlaps in all these plans are fairly clear. I also like that brown rice is somewhat ok and stevia is fine.
Anyhoo, first week (M-F only) has gone better and easier than I anticipated. Feel steady energy not ups and downs. I think the "last 10 lbs" will be easier to lose than I anticipated. Hoping I can go to the next level and track bodyfat % next. I haven't started a kb routine but have wanted to since reading about Pavel here, basically just kb swings and Turkish getups. I love the 80/20 rules as I'm a lazy minimalist, not OCD enough to do elaborate routines, and want to spend time doing fun stuff.
