Thanks for bringing this thread back - I missed it the first go round.

Lurked on EF and signed up to RSF around the transition... sad to see far fewer Great Old Ones posting these days than before. Although seems like enough of them are still hanging out in TNT!

For what it's worth, I still believe in the bar.

I've only been around here since the last days of EF, but I've been wasting time online since the pre-internet days of dial up modems and BBSs.

One thing that has never changed is people looking back to the old days when everything was better... that was as true 20 years ago as it was now. It is a judgement that rarely survives even a cursory examination.

The more I train the less I know and the less I have to say, so I rarely post about anything of import. That said, I remain indebted to this forum for being where I am now, and the information contained is still more than worth the time spent skipping over the noise that permeates any busy forum.

Thank you David for setting up EF and for the present proprietors for maintaining this den of iniquity in it's current form :)

At least we haven't had any actual challenge matches for years. The best was when Omar was supposed to fight the female mma fighter, but instead the other two went at it in the parking lot. THOSE were the days! And, that wasn't even that long ago (EF days?).

This is a great forum, and I met some cool people to workout and/or drink beers with over the years. I remember when I first met Jaime, he thought I was a female because my first handle was Jianyun. :)

Thank you all who keep this up and running.

RIP David - we had some great chats on the side.

Anna?

That had to be 2005 or 2006.

Update: I guess 2007

Yeah I was lurking on Jarek's board when EF first showed up.
Can't remember anymore, was it red-on-gray or something?

Kill me,but I don`t recall it either,

I even don`t remember nick of the guy who had quite big quarrel with me,/no calling for the duel, dough/ just before opening his own forum- where lot of the eF members firstly moved, and even faster "returning " here :D . He took the eF credits for the while , I suppose.
hmm, there was something with the red leafs in the name or banner ??? .

That's a good thing to forget IMO; fuck 'im
Besides, he stole that nick anyway, from Dan Madar who was "dan the madman" for years in the beginning.

There are more fun things to be remembered, like Asura's promise to make the Universe his personal toilet or something along those lines. ;D

I got tipped off to the old EF from an old friend that was practicing Hsing Yi at the time... Info about "internal arts" were nearly impossible to find in Denmark at the time (still is), so it was an eyeopener.
It was just around the time when Sifu Z was huge... I cant forget seeing the pictures with the socks and the posings and the comments and jesus christ, I couldnt stop laughing for a looooong while... Writing this with a huge smile just from the memories of those pics...

Even though I dont post much I keep coming back...

Hey Wayne, If it's the Asian chap in the green blue sweat shirt you're inquiring about, that's Shun Quan, he's one of Master gongs disciples.

The crowd back in the Empty Flower days was a bit more rowdy.

But I still feel a debt to Dave for getting this all together.

I wouldn't have met and crossed hands with half the people I know without it. And made some good friends along the way.

I just want to keep up my current role as the Steve Stiffler of the board. ;D

The guy in the blue shirt was Wayne Cerisi, I stayed with him in LA for a few days, he was a WC and Black Tiger exponent, worked as a security guard at the film studio, was friend of IKF editor,
