Really enjoyed the second video, thanks. Anyone know his background? I couldn't see any English language websites at first glance.

Well, there is no much information available. since I do not read hungarian, here is a short bio in french:

Shigeru UEMURA

Shigeru Uemura works with several Japanese scientists in the field of health and is still working with them today (quantum physic, biorythm, blood brain frequences, cell regenration, human body´s electromagnetic fields and the environnement around it, linguistic, seismology and water memory).

His activities:

Since 1978, Shigeru Uemura has hosted conferences and founded various association dealing with body language´s comparative study, human sciences and health practices. He has written one book and numerous articles, has spoken at the UNESCO, at medical conferences etc....

In 2003, he has founded his own martial art school KAMUHI, synthesis of his studies of body movements and health. The association counts up to 2000 people today (France, Hungary, la Réunion (french island close to Madagascar in the Indian ocean and Tahiti (french overseas territory in french Polynesia in the Pacific Ocean).
Since 2013, the school is called Emishi O-Do Kai.

I´m not 100% sure but I think that I met years ago, a former student of Tokitsu Kenji who has briefly followed Uemura and as far as I remenber there might be a connection with both Tokitsu Kenji and kuroda tetsuzan. Uemura might have started with Karate, exactly as Tokitsu did before evolving clearly towards something definetly different.

Everything on that video featuring a sword was taken directly from Kuroda. His stuff is.. idiosyncratic; there's no mistaking it.

There are not too many information available on Uemura Shigeru but he appears to be living in France and has practiced Karate (which style I do not know but he is probably an early JKA instructor, Shotokan), Iai-do, Tai-chi and I-Chuan which he refers as "mind boxing".

It looks like Kuroda, Tokitsu (founder of Jiseido and former Karate practioner) and Uemura were training/researching together at one point in their respective career.

Tokitsu Kenji is a very interesting practioner, he was high ranked in Shotokan before realizing that he was in the wrong track and started to explore other martial disciplines like Taikiken and some chinese styles. He also has studied Kenjutsu and Kendo. He has written some very interesting books. He is mostly an autodidact by the way.
