Daoist Alchemy

Postby Aqui on Wed Sep 06, 2017 4:29 am

Hey guys,

I was always interested in learning (at least the basics of) Daoist Internal Alchemy. But the problem ist that there is no teacher in my are nor do I currently have the possibility to travel to one... :-\
But lately some teachers started teaching online courses which seem like an alternative to get started (I am well aware that e courses have their limits, but they can get you on track ;) )
Anyway, after checking some out I found this guy:

http://daoistmeditation.com

His prices are very reasonable (one important criteria) and the way he describes them, his courses seem to make sense! He also published a book:
http://www.tambulimedia.com/lifestyle-welcome/internal-elixir-cultivation/
It always seems a bit reassuring if a teacher was able to get a book deal!

So my question is,

-does anybody here know Robert James Coons and could tell me whether his stuff is good/ works? (you can PM me if you like).

-has anybody read his book or done his courses? How are they?

Thank you very much in advance!

Best,

Aqui :)

That's "Mix" or Mixjourneyman, he used to be a fairly prolific poster on here back in the day. Well liked too I would say. I believe his primary CIMA teacher was/is Yang Hai. He still pops up now and again to post, mostly about tea or neigung. I always liked him, got on well as well as respecting his knowledge and opinions so would have no problem recommending him, I think he would be well equipped to do a great job with this kind of work. Any reviews would be welcome. He's lost a lot of weight and his Xingyi form looks crispy as duck to me..

Mix, do you sell your tea worldwide or just US/Canada?

Patrick, yes, the shipping cost is basically the same everywhere in the world, so I still include free shipping to everywhere.

The website looks tight. Who designed it for you?

Hey Robert,

Thank you very much for responding :)

I am interested in your courses, especially the "Ge Hong's Jade Emperor Embryonic Breathing Classic" looks like a good start.
Could you give me a short walkthrough on the benefits of this course? I mean in practical terms.

Sure,
so basically it is an introductory meditation class which teaches how to correctly combine intention and breathing to help you enter into a tranquil state from which it is possible to develop Hun Yuan energy. The course is based on the embryonic breathing classic, which is one of the foundational early documents of Daoist meditation. For more detailed questions, feel free to email me at neidandao at hotmail dot com

Best wishes.

Molson Canada is mourning the loss of their best customer. :)
I define internal martial art as unusual muscle recruitment and leave it at that. If my definition is incomplete, at least it is correct so far as it goes.
