"In taiji two-person training, we are told to “find” or “stick-to” or “search for” the other person’s Center and how important it is to be relaxed/sensitive to do learn to do this."

This is wrong, as with bit of learning one should identify the centre of mass of a person by just longing at him or her.

For which you have to be relaxed and sensitive

All perception arises from the self in the way it becomes aware of and experiences outside forces ect.

All "forces" felt are ones own attempting to keep to a certain dynamic. You cant feel some one else's force
only your own in resisting it. Dont want to deal with their force understand how to stop using your own.

A very, hard part for most to get to consisting of a lot of training designed to help one understand this.
many of the clips RobP3, post have nice drills and practices showing this. If I'm mistaken please feel free to correct.

Another way to look at sensitivity, its not about the other but oneself.
It allows one to understand, mange, change, and control the dynamic going on inside
oneself which affects whats going on, on the outside..

This allows one to understand transition points.
How to recover if one is either ahead of or behind
their own dynamic natural range of movement.
