Good stuff, the only question I have is whether the conclusion that high fat intake has negative impact was arrived at with or without regard to carbohydrate intake...?

Found it -- nope, as I suspected, no carb-restricted scenario was specifically tested:

rats were divided into two groups: one
group was fed a high-fat (HF) diet containing 42% fat
(coconut butter and corn oil) by energy, as described
previously [6], another group was fed standard rat chow
(LF) diet (10% fat by energy

It wasn't even her study, it's a 2006 study she referenced as [67] here: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl ... po=45.5752

If would also argue that the fact that these were plant, instead of animal, based fats could be a contributing issue as well.

Last I checked rats are omnivores.

i was taught/under the impression that one grows with a fixed number of
brain cells and that one keep losing them as one grows old.

i was surprised to hear from a scientist that this is not the case.

before i saw this vid, i gave a loved one a talking to about the sentence
" i'm old already "
telling how its underlying meaning was that because of advancing age,
one should be weak, tired, muddled, slow, etc.
so one starts to behave like one's assumptions
i think this can speed up the aging process
ppl say what you think, you become
