I used to study TCM with a guy who was an instructor for Moy Lin Shin's Daoist Tai Chi. From what he told me they place a heavy emphasis on the health aspects, many of their students being from the elderly community. Their long form has 108 postures and is apparently a modification of a Yang Form, Yang Chen fu version I think. My friend told me emphasis in the form was on extending/opening the spine through extension of the hands and having a strong and flexible kua. One exercise I remember him showing me involved standing in a horse type stance, extending the hands out to the front(palms down) then squatting down into the hips, on the way up the hands turn over, palms facing the sky. He told me during a seminar one guy did 500 of these over the course of the afternoon!
They also practise a small Liu He Ba Fa form as part of their syllabus.
Best,
Luke
