Awesome; thank you sir.

Sounds like once Fong rolls there out, we're pretty much ready for Teh Grand Switch! 8-)
Can't wait. I love this new forum.

we have a possible problem.

every time michael makes change to his account, he gets moved to the inactive user group. that could be a pain.

not sure what's up with that acct changing thing... let's test it a bit.
Quick reply is now active (and very convenient :))
I've copied the two best threads in recent memory into the main forum, and have deleted all the development related threads. once we're good to go, I'll delete this thread even, and start an empty one. I'll move the remaining tasks to the Planned IMprovements thread.

Ashe,
I've restored the site logo to the banner. right now it's alizee, dancing on her transparent background ;D.

Can you make a photoshop GIF of just the transparent color, the size of the banner minus the search button area? or maybe just the size of the banner up to the end of the text on the left. Just give me that, I'll upload it, and it will be done. it already defaults to returning to the board index.

I requested to join the "Great Old Ones" to see if it would trigger me getting made inactive again, but no problem. This was just a test, I don't care what group I'm in.

PS-I like that people can't change their names.

I would say, do exactly that -- not the whole thing. The rest of the gray is the "filling" and will change as you resize horizontally, which will probably cause the horizontal scrollbar to appear, which would be a pain. Just a thought.

P.S. Swwwweet!!!
Was writing a reply, clicked 'Submit' and it took me to the 'Preview' instead and got this message: "At least one new post has been made to this topic. You may wish to review your post in light of this."
That's AWESOME. 8-)

A-freakin'-MAN!! -twisted-
Didn't even notice that... Although I'm sure that'll be the request #1 when this goes live. ::)

I just changed my signature, saved changes, removed cookies, and logged back in with no problem.

My previous issue could have been centered on the fact I originally entered an incorrect e-mail address.

Yes, the "cross-posting"protection feature is excellent 95% of the time, unless tons of people are posting at once and not really speaking in sequence. But overall, it's really one of the best features of some of these boards. SMF message board has it, too.

I changed my e-mail address again, which prompted the normal activation process, sending me a link to my new e-mail address, and everything worked fine.

My previous problems were probably all because of giving an incorrect e-mail to begin with. Not sure why when I changed my e-mail by one character to fix it I got inactivated.

I plan to change my e-mail back again tomorrow and if that goes smoothly, then in the future if someone complains of not getting their original activation link by e-mail, then they might have trouble with additional changes like I did, but it's probably something that happens infrequently.

A minor cosmetic thing:

This link:

"disappears" when I hover the mouse over it. (I.e. the text color changes to a color that is almost as light as the background itself.)

there is a conflict between the quick reply mod and the auto img resize mod, with the quick reply mod taking precedents. looking into how to resolve.
