(posting this in 'bugs' and not 'enhancements' because it is something that used to work fine on the old forum)
If there any way to control the "common words" list in the searches? Would love to be able to exclude user names (or at least some of the names) from it...
I used to search for my name (in cases when I didn't go online for a while) to see if anyone commented or asked me anything while I was away... Now I can't do that anymore, the search returns with:
The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: dmitri.
You must specify at least one word to search for. Each word must consist of at least 3 characters and must not contain more than 14 characters excluding wildcards.
Same result for "ashe" or "fong"...
It's not just user names though, because "nianfong" works fine.
If such "exclusion list" is not available or accessible, then maybe we could increase the "allowance", the limit that determines which words are "common" and which are not? (Although that latter work-around has a danger of pushing the DB access/load a little...)
