your tech setup? list if having login issues - was test post

tell me:
- your location, mine is tucson az. usa
- device type to access rsf
- your browser name and age
- your session length
- any special software or vpn you use to access the web
before responding make sure you purge all rsf related files, including cookies, from your browser cache. i cannot reproduce this with my setup.

yeah. i'm addressing the script attacks on this site first, then, if needed, moving to a mongo server farm i've been developing. this has been the guest session load for a while.
"In total there are 120 users online :: 1 registered, 0 hidden and 119 guests (based on users active over the past 5 minutes)" EDIT: the session seems to be holding; we're at 1 hour.

i've implemented a challenge for every access to rsf. this is temporary for most of the site. you may be asked to wait to verify your status as a real person or respond to a challenge when accessing content. bots, so many bots. "In total there are 73 users online :: 3 registered, 0 hidden and 70 guests (based on users active over the past 5 minutes)"

server load is down. bots are dropping off. rsf was hit recently by site(s) in Hong Kong that consumed server resources. session durations were affected. event seems to be past. moving on.
