it's Midnite for me here and I just logged on...

Im just curious about your Infinity 8 ? I do some bagua but I confess to being confused because I've never heard of your term "infinity 8" Is that another term for 8 palm changes?

When you ask for tips do you mean with bagua basics, in circle walking, in stepping or form work?

I know I started with footwork ...tedious footwork and learning single & double palm change 1st...then endlessly repeat!

Just on those topics there's a ton of info out there i.e. books and videos...let alone Youtube stuff.

Isn’t that more like walking a yin yang symbol pattern within a normal circle?

That seems like it could be good for the basin postures where both arms are identical and you wouldn’t need to do any changes. Just endure for as long as you can but quit knowing that you got an equal amount of twisting practice on each side of your body.

I was taught that as a prerequisite to 9 Palaces. Then we expanded it to a triple loop and so forth.

Yes Tom that’s what I meant,
Rather than walk the circle, you walk the 8 / or sign for infinity (if u like )
Pretty cool, and yes have been using a few of the mother palm position
Whilst doing the changes at the ‘crossroads’,so to speak
Like it, it’s a fun practice, bit more interesting than the circle I think
Enjoy it

Funny thing was it wasn’t something I planned, just thought I’d start a little bagua
And without thinking just started doing it
Then again it has been an odd time for me recently

Cheers
