I'm still on the rehab list, so MA training = fuck all for me, right now :(

Otherwise, the usual daily round of hatha/prana yoga and shortly, I'll start doing some weight training and dayan (wild goose) qigong again... maybe in another three months, I'll be up to doing dragon gate qigong, maybe not.

This is like a story about my teacher. He used to train at a park and did beng walking all the way to and from the park. He said people didn't look at him funny though, since that sort of thing was fairly normal in tienjin lol :D

I have 6 "frame workouts'":

1/Yoga - couple of assanas, breathing, meditation
2/ "Personal qigong" - 14 meridian qigong
3/ILC - 16 Nei dan and ZZ
4/TJ - 8brocades, 21 moves , 5 phases
5/BGZ - Circle walk, fang ch., foot work
6/Buddist and tybetan /Bon/qigong

Time:
15 min.- 1,5h ea.set
4 times a day /sadly, not everyday /

Methods:
as Shawn noticed -what body dictated + :

mornings and evenings -Yoga and/or 14meridians
8am. or noon -TJ
afternoon - BGZ or ILC
midnight - Bon

but nothing is 100%fixed

Wifes problems - may really mess u up if she doesn't train.
Only way is to take her with your journey. :-*

Taoist lovemaking may help a little :o

Czesc Wiesiek, wyglada na to ze jestesm sporo mlodszy ale juz zaczynam rozumiec co to sa problemy kiedy zona nie cwiczy, moja przynajmniej czasem ze mna medytuje:)
My perfect plan would be:
Morning 1h nyndro - prostrations (its F...g high time for me to finish it, and Im half way through:)
lunchtime - if training partner around 30 min of 2 person sets
evening -45 to 1h training solo
From my experience this is maximum I can pull out during normal weekday

Right now:

Bagua: subtle articulations of the hips in single and double palm, trying to nail corrections on eight basic and eight big palms. Sweaty work.

Xingyi: mostly wu xing and some animals.

bruce, yea i do. sometimes more. that's my personal practice. in a few months i'll probably do two other different moves. the yang classics say that a beginner should only study a couple postures at a time in order to "glimpse the secrets" and if they try to do too much it'll just be diluted. i'm taking their word for it for now.

however, i do the long form and other stuff every saturday in xie bingcan's class 4 hour class, and fri & sun i meet with a buddy for push hands.

Nine palace, that is the best way. I am just getting back into it, but I have only been practicing the first 3 movements of Hao for a month and a half. When I was learning wu, I'd usually learn 1-3 new movements every 2-4 months. Don't go ahead until you KNOW, not think you have moved to a new level on the basic movements.

i like to do my whole form practice but i do take 1-3 postures and repeat the transitions for a good part of my practice. (not 2 hours per day on the same 2 moves though)
i have found a lot of benefit from that type of practice i am just not as extreme ... white crane - brush the knee are 2 i spent a lot of time on and also grasp the sparrows tail.
