Have no idea how you could separate qi from movement...

...What he basically speaks about in the end is not about ciculation of qi, but about breath. He says that he can speak and show form at the same time, so the movement does not depend on a fixed breath pattern. I think he just means to breath naturally and to not force the breath. No need to mystify simple things.

The fellow is a wonderful human being but the form is terrible! This should not mean that anyone seeing value in intcannot see it as a reflection of what they are accustomed to, and what they are looking for! The form is too slow 8-) If an observant eye sees it as valuable, then it is ???

Seriously, that's a very confusing little take on what was probably a great seminar....

"Separate the chi" ??
He's showing the form to beginners...from the beginning....prescribes sinking the chi at 26 sec 110 sec and 120 sec.....to correctly do the movement.....

Breath ?? Twice he prescribes an inspiration and expiration 37 sec ( "then you bounce the people away"!! )
and 2 min (push) ..."There's two breathing -unintelligible-"
He may be deadlier than a dynamite dildo....
But what the hell is he teaching???

Sure one can do the movements whilst talking or making shopping lists....
(knew a woman like that once, once) Is it good Tai chi....?? ..mindfull??

Nice form but his teaching is quite confusing.. just teaching the form to beginners?? not some advanced separating chi yadayada..?

Sifu Sam Chin has a clearer take on breathing, (and a thicker accent- so must be closer to the source)

The signatures of the form is to teach Sinking the Qi and Shifting the Weight. Teachers take their students to see Sifu in these seminars. In this way, the students can see the Gold Standard.

You can meditate or do martial arts. In meditation follow the breath. In martial arts follow the fist.

He is demonstrating a form at a seminar. There is no one touching him so the question of double or single weighted is irrelevant.

You touch him, Wayne. Then tell us what happened.
