From Chinese history, Fang Shi (Alchemy Scholar) change their name to Dao Shi (Dao Scholar?) during the Jin Dynasty (AD 265 to 420), the practice of Neidan and spiritualism have nothing to do with the study of Dao, namely the works of Laozi and Zhuangzi. In a way they are similar to the new age spiritualist sort of maxing everything together, and I would be very skeptical about their teaching of Internal Martial Arts of any sort.
