This old man Ma Yin Tu (馬英圖) taught my teacher the Baji system in the Central Guoshu Institute (Nanjing Guoshu Guan 南京國術館). It's impressive to see his flexibility and balance for his age.

Nice pic, although it looks like a Yin style Bagua kick to me, with the hands hooked back, no?

Impressive indeed. I wonder if any upper body development was still apparant?

John, what do you do for upper body work? I am guessing tree hanging and throwing heavy bags around haha. ;)

I don't have single head, double heads, and cane bundle in California. When I'm I California, the following are what I work on.

- 1 minute pole hanging.
- 80 sit ups.
- 60 chin pull up.
- striking dummy palm strike 40 reps.
- striking dummy arm strike (3 stars) 120 reps.
- heavy bag 200 punches.
- heavy bag 40 front kicks, 40 roundhouse kicks, 40 side kicks.
- bench press 60 reps.
- weight pulling 180 reps.
- leg weight forward 60 reps, backward 60 reps.
- round bag throwing 60 reps.
- square bag throwing 60 reps.
- cane bundle twisting 60 reps.
- 8 different belt cracking of 20 reps each (total 160 reps).
