Q&A with ...

Postby Bao on Fri Dec 21, 2018 3:35 am

The first Q&A in my new Interview series. Welcome to stop by and meet Chen Taiji, Xingyi and Bagua expert Ken Gullette, a very interesting person and a true everyday fighter. He was very generous about sharing his thoughts and ideas. 8-)

https://taichithoughts.wordpress.com/20 ... -gullette/

I have already made a few interviews and will publish a new one every Friday. Next week will feature Master Wong. I would love to hear your suggestions on suitable victims. ;D

Thanks N_M, I appreciate it.

I myself love reading this type of interviews so I had a lot of fun doing them and enjoy hearing their answers. I have tried to give everyone a few quite general and open questions so they can answer those in any way they wish. It's quite a diverse bunch of people I have made contact with, but so far the best of their personalities seems to shine through.

thanks for taking the time for such a project and sharing, looking forward for the next interview,……By the way, who is master Wong ? ……Just the other day( when reading Jon Bluming had passed away) I had this idea of an (Swedish)interview subject, but that is entirely on Karate/Budo & the early days of Kickboxing(in Japan/Sweden), and there’s a whole bunch of Budoka’s in Sweden who have had quite interesting MA’s journeys. But I don’t know about CMA’s with similar experiences.…One thought about this first interview. When one enter/exit a Dojo the bowing is not a worship thing, Mr.Gullette got that wrong

Trick, thanks. I don't know about Sweden when it comes to CMA. I try to find people who I believe are suitable for this format and I think that some people really need a more in-depth conversation.

So how do you explain that bowing thing? I don't think that he meant it that literary.

I am sure you have heard about Master Wong... ;D

I love interviews like this, too, thanks for doing it! ;D

As for victims - any taiji/bagua/xingyi/other CMA would be great!

I didn't see this one before. I love that he mentions Wu Jing. But don't get enough respect over here

Thanks, you're welcome.

I plan to put up ten Q&A's for the first round. Then hopefully I'll manage to get together ten more for a second round. But I hope to get a few suggestions before I try to collect ten more Q&A's.

Mmm, that's a nice choice indeed. Yeah, Wong is a really cool guy. 8-) Considering what he has achieved, he himself deserves much more respect as well.
