AFAIC, this is the best move in Taiji and can fuse very well with me Chicken beng.

笨的像豬頭,在枝流未節的屁地方一直問,
老師年紀大了,真要講打法時愛理不理的。

The teacher's answer was not clear. His explanation can be as simple as:

- Block your opponent's punch.
- Fingers attack under his chin.
- Palm grab his neck.
- Foot lock behind opponent's ankle.
- Push his neck forward, scoop his leg backward.

John if you listen carefully the master was trying to emphasis the (importance) application of the move,
But students keep on interrupting his talk and only focus on the move.

If someone asks me this question, I'll just do it without talking much. Too many words and no action is my concern.

If my

- hand will grab the throat, I will turn my hand (palm face outside).

What made it famous was Yang, right?

But the stories are of him pushing or some such thing in some "civilized" setting

Not against that, but it's not like fight stories of Maeda or Gracie...

Wang Xiangzhai and BL were critical of CMA way back when. That's already fairly damning evidence isn't it
