yeah i think so. it's pretty hard to separate what's going on but there are a couple of overlapping topics:

feint. generally useful. very sport or art specific. but there are "external" body mechanic and general athletic skills one needs.

internal/external used in leading someone to emptiness. much harder to discuss. most of us who have done ph probably know what it feels like to do a smooth rollback without needing to have "heavy" feedback or connection or any strong feeling of energy. but yeah there is always "internal" there even if we are not developed at doing it.

anyway, that's all a tangent on the "don't need to feel wrong first" tangent.
amateur practices til gets right pro til can't get wrong
